Jennie S. Redling is an acting instructor specializing
in Neighborhood Playhouse performance techniques in classic and
contemporary scenes. Ms. Redling is an award-winning dramatist and
audition coach and holds a B.F.A. in Literature and Drama from Fairleigh
Dickinson University and completed the Sanford Meisner two year
Acting Program with the late Phil Gushee, renowned instructor at
Mr. Meisners acclaimed Neighborhood Playhouse. While performing
professionally on stage and television, Ms. Redlings focus
moved to teaching and directing theatre, and playwriting. Her plays
have been produced in New York City and nationally and her audition
monologues have been published nationally. She has received numerous
awards, including a N.Y. State Council for the Arts grant, 2007
BMI Foundation award for Outstanding Creative Achievement as a Librettist,
the national 1999 Arlene R. And William P. Lewis Playwriting Award
for Women and the national 1998 Stanley Drama Award. Ms. Redling
is a member of AFTRA, SAG, Actors Equity Association and The Dramatists
Guild.
